When you’re tapped to make Samsung’s 2nd Annual Developer Conference bigger and better than the first annual event, it pays to have the right connections. So, we leveraged our network of trusted designers, producers and engineers to make it happen.
The conference theme, “Connected Living. Connected Developers.” underscores the importance of connections, beginning with partnerships. Hartmann Studios launched outreach efforts to potential sponsors, then managed relationships with key partners like Nuance, Intel and SAP throughout each phase of the event
We strengthened our existing connection to Samsung through the creative process. Developing a style guide for the conference, we created one unified theme throughout the experience. This included integrating the look and feel of over 30 sponsors within the vast venue of Moscone West.
We also promoted connections among attendees with several networking opportunities, including a VIP reception held at San Francisco’s Asian Art Museum, along with an engaging evening for all attendees at the Exploratorium. Hartmann managed the food and beverage service, transportation of all guests, live entertainment and hospitality areas.
Of course, a big part of this year’s success hinged on literal connections – supporting seamless streaming with a solid IT infrastructure. Hartmann Studios executed every demo throughout the 3-day event wirelessly. We created and delivered stunning graphics for the keynote presentation across every exciting platform Samsung has to offer. This included a custom-curved truss configuration for projection and lighting and wide-screen configuration DSMs. In addition to maintaining super wide graphics on the main screens, our engineers produced content for delays, overflow areas, and archive records.
