Last minute preparations are a standard part of event planning, but when you’re expecting 1.5 million attendees, things can get a little dicey – especially, when the weather throws you a curve.
Fortunately for Hartmann Studios, we’ve had a lot of practice. As the go-to event partner to the San Francisco Giants, we’re used to having less time to pull off a World Series celebration than most people spend planning a game day party.
The parade ended at the Civic Center which Hartmann Studios strategically wrapped with orange and black signage to set the stage for an impressive lineup of VIPs – Giants legend Willie Mays and team president Larry Baer along with politicos US Representative Nancy Pelosi, Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom (formerly SF mayor) and current mayor, Ed Lee, among others.
Coordinating with MLB, city officials, security, and press we worked to manage the flow of the parade and the fans to ensure the weather didn’t dampen the much-deserved celebration of our home town team.
